Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen

Should we call this a ramen blog? Haha. We are going to feature another ramen house that was fairly new in the metro. Shangri-la’s new east wing is already open although a lot of stores are not yet finished. Some Filipino celebrities already dined-in here and are their frequent customers. Anyway, this ramen house we are talking about is none other than Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen. It’s not that small but it can’t really accommodate a lot of people especially around noon time which actually the time where we went there.

Upon arriving, all the staff are nice and friendly. They’ll greet the customers before entering and after you leave. There were no available tables except the bar area where you can also see their open kitchen. Well for a change, we gladly agreed to sit there. Although, that’s one of the disadvantages because we didn’t take a lot of pictures and just the foods that we ordered, the condiments and the place mat below. Haha.

Let’s go straight to the foods. We ordered two different ramens and the usual “side dishes” we like. Haha.

Miso Tonkotsu Ramen P380.00

Miso Ramen for the boyfriend. :) According to their menu, it’s a tonkotsu soup with special blended quality Miso paste to enrich the flavour and taste in the soup. It’s so good! Note that miso ramen has no eggs in it. Boyfriend just ordered an additional Ajitama Soft Boiled Eggs for P50.00.

Ajitama Tonkotsu Ramen P380.00

Ajitama ramen for the girlfriend. :) It’s one of the best ramen that the girlfriend tasted! We believe that it’s one of their best sellers and there’s no reason why it won’t be! It is topped with a special half-boiled egg that is fully marinated with a special blended soy sauce base.

Gyoza P150.00

For our kobachi, we ordered gyoza that is best eaten when dipped into the ramen soup! Lol.

Ikkoryu Chicken Wings P180.00

We ordered Agemono and this is our chosen one! :)) It was tasty but they served it cold. :( It was served first on our table and we already knew that it was not newly cooked. :( But anyway, you can still taste the richness of its flavah! :))

The aftermath. Lol.

All in all, this is one of the ramen house that we can dine-in again. Although,, I highly doubt that it will happen sooner or later as we are in the process of discovering new ramen joints across the metro to try out. Haha. We recommend this place for ramen addicts and it is conveniently located in Shangri-la Edsa.
