Jipan Cafe and Bakeshop

Quick post

We went to Glorietta last August 7 to just roam around after boyfriend’s interview. We passed by at this “new” restaurant called Jipan Cafe and Bakeshop and bf immediately wanted to try it. Well, we walked around further to look for another store before deciding to eat there.

The waiter handed over their menu and I saw that they offer some ramen dishes. So this post will be another ramen adventure! Haha.

Shoyu Ramen P235.00

Girlfriend as usual chose a shoyu ramen. It’s a ramen noodle soup with marinated pork and some vegetables. It doesn’t come with an egg. T_T Why?! The taste is bland for my liking. Well, I guess it’s because we’ve been to some ramen house that really serves authentic ones.

Chashu Ramen 289.00

Boyfriend chose a chashu ramen and it actually tasted the same with the shoyu ramen but this time–it has eggs. Lol. The taste of their soup is very average.

We also ordered a lemon iced tea for P79.00 and it’s bottomless already. They offer other Japanese dishes which I believe is tastier like sushi, sashimi, cold noodles, sandwiches and of course their pastries. It’s worth it to try nonetheless.
